Our focus is in long term projects for social and economic benefit with Indigenous communities.

Today we release our 2010 Gum Leaf Christmas card series…

All the cards are 100% recycled paper
Printed in vibrant vegetable inks
Come with white or 100% recycled envelopes

STORY:
The original gum leaves were painted by a Blue Mountains artists Elly Chatfield (Gamillaroi).
Elly tells us the white dots on each leaf represents the continual protection of the Ancestors

FACT:
World Heritage listing for the Greater Blue Mountains region was awarded partially based on the proliferation of Eucalypt trees, currently numbered 103 species. More commonly known as Gum trees.

The gift cards come in Red and Yellow Ochre and Bush Green.

Red Cockatoo Australia – Finalist in Innovation & Finalist in the Arts

Last night Tracey Allen ( Manager & Founder of Red Cockatoo Australia) and Elly Chatfield (Director and Aboriginal Artist in the Blue Mountains) accepted their Finalist Awards at the Blue Mountains Business Awards cocktail party. We met the new Mayor of Blue Mountains City Council Cr. Daniel Myles and wonderful people in business in this region. It was exciting to received two Finalist nominations ! Winners to be announced in October.
