Story: In this painting the circles represent important water or rock hole sites. This is an area where the women are searching for water using their digging sticks. The traditional U shape representing women has been extended and abstracted into lines of water and country, connecting people and country.
The rock holes collect the water during the rains. Knowledge of where to find water was handed down from generation to generation to ensure survival in the desert.
